The Cape Winelands District Municipality (CWDM) and WCG Department of Economic Development and Tourism hosted the annual Investors’ Workshop in Stellenbosch on 17 October 2024. Among the guests were the owners of small, micro and medium enterprises (SMMEs) who were interested in finding out more about how to export their products. Guest speakers included Nigel and Christynn Jacobs of Jacobs Jam, who started a small business in Ceres in 2019 and have since started supplying Checkers locally and internationally.
The CWDM’s Executive Director for Community Development and Planning Services (CDPS), Mr Pietie Williams and Cllr Esther Groenewald (Portfolio Holder: Corporate Services, CWDM) shared how the support of the CWDM can assist enterprises who wish to export their products.
The conference attracted close to 100 guests from across the Cape Winelands District.
